Abu Ja’far At-Tusi writes: “The imitation (Taqlid) – if one means the acceptance of the other’s statement without proof – and this is the true imitation (Taqlid) – is detestable to the mind.” [Al-Iqtisad-ul-Hadi ila Tariq Ar-Rashad, page 10]
