No unity until the return of Qaim (ajf)

Question:

Is unity until the return of the Imam of Time (a.) realistic?

Answer:

Abdullah Ibn Jablah reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “This matter will not happen until you spit in each others faces and until you curse one another and until you call each other as liars.” [Al-Ghaibah of An-Nu’mani, page 213 – 214 Hadith 10]

أخبرنا علي بن أحمد، قال: أخبرنا عبيد الله بن موسى العلوي، عن الحسن بن علي، عن عبد الله بن جبلة، عن بعض رجاله، عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام أنه قال: لا يكون ذلك الأمر حتى يتفل بعضكم في وجوه بعض، وحتى يلعن بعضكم بعضا، وحتى يسمي بعضكم بعضا كذابين

Aban Ibn Taghlib reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “How do you feel when there is a great mischief between the two places of prayer, the knowledge disappears like a snake in its hole and our followers disagree, call each other liars and spit in each others faces?” I said: “My life be sacrificed to you, what good thing will come at this time? He said to me three times: “All the good will come at this time.” [Al-Kafi by Al-Kulaini, volume 1 page 340 Hadith 17]

وبهذا الاسناد، عن الوشاء، عن علي بن الحسن عن أبان بن تغلب قال: قال: قال أبو عبد الله عليه السلام: كيف أنت إذا وقعت البطشة بين المسجدين، فيأرز العلم كما تأرز الحية في جحرها، واختلفت الشيعة وسمى بعضه بعضا كذابين وتفل بعضهم في وجوه بعض؟ قلت: جعلت فداك ما عند ذلك من خير، فقال لي: الخير كله عند ذلك، ثلاثا

Umairah Bint Nufail reported that Imam Al-Husain (a.) said: “The matter you are waiting for will not come until you disassociate from each other and spit in each others faces and declare each other as unbelievers and curse one another.” I said: “What good things will come in those days?” He said: “All the good will come at the time when the Rising One (Qa’im) appears from us and removes all these things.” [Al-Ghaibah of An-Nu’mani, page 213 Hadith 9]
