Ali Ibn Isa reported that Husain Ibn Rashid said:“I mentioned Zaid, the son of Ali (a.) and criticized him before Ja’far As-Sadiq (a.), whereupon he said: “Do not do this, God have mercy on my uncle Zaid, for he came to my father Al-Baqir (a.) and said: “I want to revolt against this tyrant!” Then he said: “Do not do this, O Zaid, for I am afraid that you will be killed and crucified. O Zaid, do you not know that before the Sufyani comes out, no descendant of Fatimah (a.) will go out against one of the rulers without being killed?” [Kashf-ul-Ghummah of Al-Irbili, Volume 2 page 357]

عن علي بن عيسى عن الحسين بن راشد قال: ذكرت زيد بن علي فتنقصته عند أبي عبد الله فقال لا تفعل رحم الله عمي زيدا فإنه أتى أبي الباقر فقال إني أريد الخروج على هذا الطاغية فقال لا تفعل يا زيد فإني أخاف أن تكون المقتول المصلوب بظهر الكوفة أما علمت يا زيد أنه لا يخرج أحد من ولد فاطمة على أحد السلاطين قبل خروج السفياني إلا قتل
