Muhammad Ibn Ya’qub of Muhammad Bin Yahya of Ahmad Bin Muhammad of ‘Uthman Bin ‘Isa of Sima’ Bin Mihran, who said: “I asked him about two people who are both looking out for the dawn (Fajr). Then one of them says: “There it is!” While the other one says: “I have not seen anything!” He said: “The person for whom the dawn was not visible should eat, and it is forbidden (haram) for the person who claimed to have seen the dawn. God said: {And eat and drink until the white thread is clearly distinguished for you from the black thread of the dawn!}”[Wasa’il ush-Shi’ah, volume 7, page 75]

محمد بن يعقوب ، عن محمد بن يحيى ، عن أحمد بن محمد ، عن عثمان بن عيسى ، عن سماعة بن مهران قال : سألته عن رجلين قاما فنظرا إلى الفجر فقال أحدهما : هو ذا ، وقال الآخر : ما أرى شيئا ؟ قال : فليأكل الذي لم يستبن له الفجر ، وقد حرم على الذي زعم أنه رأى الفجر ، إن الله عز وجل يقول : ( كلوا واشربوا حتى يتبين لكم الخيط الابيض من الخيط الاسود من الفجر
