Question:

Will there be other creatures after the children of Adam (a.)?

Answer:

Jabir Ibn Yazid reported that he asked Imam Al-Baqir (a.) after the verse: “Were we then overwhelmed with the first creation? No, but they are unaware of a new creation.” (50:15) He said: “O Jabir, it is meant that if God lets this creation and this world pass away and makes the Paradise home to the inhabitants of Paradise and the hell to the inhabitants of hell, He creates a new world different from this one and a new creation that are neither men nor women and worship Him and confess His unity. He creates for them an earth different from this earth that bears them and a heaven different from this heaven that overshadows them.” [At-Tawhid from As-Saduq, page 277]

عن أبي رحمه الله، قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عيسى عن الحسن بن محبوب، عن عمرو بن شمر، عن جابر بن يزيد، قال: سألت أبا جعفر عليه السلام عن قوله عز وجل: أفعيينا بالخلق الاول بل هم في لبس من خلق جديد قال: يا جابر تأويل ذلك أن الله عز وجل إذا أفنى هذا الخلق وهذا العالم وسكن أهل الجنة الجنة، وأهل النار النار جدد الله عالما غير هذا العالم وجدد خلقا من غير فحولة ولا إناث يعبدونه ويوحدونه، وخلق لهم أرضا غير هذه الارض تحملهم، وسماء غير هذه السماء تظلهم

Muhammad Ibn Muslim reported that Imam Al-Baqir (a. ) said: “It may be that you think that on the Day of Resurrection, God would bring together the bodies of the inhabitants of the paradise with their spirits in paradise and the inhabitants of hell with their spirits in hell and neither would you worship God in His kingdom nor would He create a creation that would worship Him and confess His unity and honor Him, but yet, by God, He will create a creation that are neither men nor women and worship Him and confess His unity and honor Him. He creates for them an earth that supports them and a heaven that overshadows them. Does God not say: “On the day that the earth shall be exchanged for another earth, and the heavens also.” (14:48) And the Exalted One says: “Were we then overwhelmed with the first creation? No, but they are unaware of a new creation.” (50:15) And there would be nothing in the heavens and on the earth except the amount of seven.” [Al-Khisal of As-Saduq, page 358 – 359 Hadith 45]

حدثنا محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا محمد ابن الحسن الصفار، عن محمد بن الحسين بن أبي الخطاب، عن محمد بن عبد الله بن هلال عن العلاء بن رزين، عن محمد بن مسلم قال: سمعت أبا جعفر عليه السلام يقول: لعلكم ترون أنه كان يوم القيامة وصير الله أبدان أهل الجنة مع أرواحهم في الجنة، وصير أبدان أهل النار مع أرواحهم في النار أن الله عز وجل لا يعبد في بلاده ولا يخلق خلقا يعبدونه ويوحدونه ويعظمونه؟ بلى والله ليخلقن الله خلقا من غير فحولة ولا إناث يعبدونه ويوحدونه ويعظمونه ويخلق لهم أرضا تحملهم وسماء تظلهم، أليس الله عز وجل: يقول يوم تبدل الأرض غير الأرض والسماوات وقال الله عزو جل: أفعيينا بالخلق الأول بل هم في لبس من خلق جديد لا يكون في السماوات والأرض شئ الا بسبعة
