It was reported to Al-Washsha’ that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “Those things are frowned upon (Makruh): what a person born of fornication and a Jew and Nazarene and associate (Mushrik) and anyone who contradicts Islam (Mukhalif) leave (in water or food) and what an enemy person (Nasibi) leaves (in water or food) is the most severe of them.” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, Volume 3, Page 10, Hadith 6]
عن الوشاء عمن ذكره عن الإمام الصادق عليه السلام أنه كره سؤر ولد الزنا وسؤر اليهودي والنصراني والمشرك وكل ما خالف الاسلام وكان أشد ذلك عنده سؤر الناصب

Isma’il Ibn Jabir reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “Do not eat of that which was slaughtered by the Jews and Nazarenes and do not eat of their dishes!” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, Volume 6, Page 151, Hadith 11]
عن إسماعيل بن جابر عن الإمام الصادق عليه السلام قال: لا تأكل من ذبائح اليهود والنصارى ولا تأكل في آنيتهم

Isma’il Ibn Jabir reported that he asked Imam As-Sadiq (a.): “What do you say about the food of the people who belong to the scriptures?” He said: “Do not eat them!” Then he was silent for a while and said: “Do not eat it!” Then he was silent for a while and said: “Do not eat it and do not let it stand to say: “It is forbidden (Haram)!” But you leave it to escape from the fact that in its dishes are drunkenness leading drinks and pork.” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, Volume 6, Page 164, Hadith 9]
عن إسمعيل بن جابر أنه سأل الإمام الصادق عليه السلام: ما تقول في طعام أهل الكتاب؟ فقال: لا تأكله ثم سكت هنيئة، ثم قال: لا تأكله ثم سكت هنيئة ثم قال: لا تأكله ولا تتركه تقول: إنه حرام ولكن تتركه تنزها عنه إن في آنيتهم الخمر ولحم الخنزير

Zakariyya Ibn Ibrahim reported that he asked Imam As-Sadiq (a.): “The people of my house belong to the the religion of the Nazarenes. May i be in the same house with them and eat from their dishes?” He said: “Do they eat pork?” I said: “No.” He said: ” There is no problem with that.” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, Volume 6, Page 164, Hadith 10]
عن زكريا بن إبراهيم أنه سأل الإمام الصادق عليه السلام: إن أهل بيتي على دين النصرانية فأكون معهم في بيت واحد وآكل من آنيتهم؟ فقال لي عليه السلام: أيأكلون لحم الخنزير؟ قلت: لا، قال: لا بأس

Yunus Ibn Bahman reported that he asked Imam Al-Kazim (a.): “One of my Nazarite relatives gave me chicken and poultry. He had already roasted it and prepared a sweet dish called Faludhajah for me, shall i eat it?” He said: ” There is no problem with that.” [At-Tahdhib of At-Tusi, Volume 9, Pages 69-70, Hadith 31]
عن يونس بن بهمن أنه سأل الإمام الكاظم عليه السلام: اهدى الي قرابة لي نصراني دجاجا وفراخا قد شواها وعمل لي فالوذجة فآكله؟ قال : لا باس به

Ibn Muskan reported that Muhammad Al-Halabi said: “I asked Abu Abdillah As-Sadiq (a.) about the slaughter of the people who belong to the scriptures and their wives, whereupon he replied: “There is no problem with that.” [At-Tahdhib of At-Tusi, Volume 9, Page 68, Hadith 25]
عن ابن مسكان عن محمد الحلبي قال: سألت أبا عبد الله عليه السلام عن ذبيحة أهل الكتاب ونسائهم فقال: لا باس به

Sa’d Ibn Isma’il reported that Isma’il Ibn Isa said: “I asked Ali Ar-Rida (a.) about the slaughter of the Jews and Nazarenes and their food. He said: “Yes.” [At-Tahdhib of At-Tusi, Volume 9, Page 70, Hadith 32]
عن سعد بن اسمعيل عن أبيه اسمعيل بن عيسى قال: سألت الرضا عليه‌ السلام عن ذبائح اليهود والنصارى وطعامهم؟ قال: نعم

Abdullah Ibn Sinan reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “Everything that is permitted and forbidden is always permitted to you until you know with precision what is forbidden (haram) of it, at which point you will refrain from it.” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, Volume 5, Page 187, Hadith 39]
عن عبد الله بن سنان عن الإمام الصادق عليه السلام قال: كل شئ يكون فيه حلال وحرام فهو حلال لك أبدا حتى أن تعرف الحرام منه بعينه فتدعه

Muhammad Ibn Humran reported that he asked Imam As-Sadiq (a.): “What about the slaughtering of the Jews, Nazarenes and Zoroastrians? He said: “Eat!” Thereupon some of them objected: “But they do not mention the name (of God)!” He said: “If you were with them, whereupon they did not mention the name (of God), then do not eat!” And he said: “If you were not with them, then eat!” [Al-Istibsar of At-Tusi, Volume 4, Page 85, Hadith 32]
عن محمد بن حمران أنه سأل الإمام الصادق عليه السلام عن ذبائح اليهود والنصارى والمجوس؟ فقال: كل فقال بعضهم انهم لا يسمون فقال: فإن حضرتموهم فلم يسموا فلا تأكلوا وقال إذا غاب فكل

Ali reported that Abu Basir said: “I asked Abu Abdillah As-Sadiq (a.) about the slaughter of the Jew, whereupon he said: “Allowed (Halal).” I said: “Even though he mentioned the name of Christ?” He said: “Even though he mentioned the name of Christ, for he meant only God.” [At-Tahdhib of At-Tusi, Volume 9, Page 69, Hadith 27]
عن علي عن أبي بصير قال: سألت أبا عبد الله عليه‌ السلام عن ذبيحة اليهودي فقال: حلال قلت: وان سمى المسيح؟ قال : وإن سمى المسيح فانه إنما يريد الله

Abd-ul-Malik Ibn Amr reported that he asked Imam As-Sadiq (a.): “What do you say about the slaughter of the Nazarene?” He said: “There is no problem with that.” I said: “They mention Christ with it.” He said: “By Christ, they mean only God.” [Al-Faqih of As-Saduq, Volume 3, Page 215, Hadith 4181]
عن عبد الملك بن عمرو أنه سأل الإمام الصادق عليه السلام: ما تقول في ذبائح النصارى؟ فقال: لا بأس بها قلت: فإنهم يذكرون عليها المسيح فقال: إنما أرادوا بالمسيح الله تعالى

Dawud Ar-Raqqi reported that Bashir Ash-Shaibani said: “I asked Abu Abdillah As-Sadiq (a.) about the slaughtering of the Jews, Nazarenes and the enemies (Nasibi), whereupon he wrenched the corners of his mouth and said: “Eat it until a certain day.” [At-Tahdhib of At-Tusi, Volume 9, pages 70-71, Hadith 34]
عن داود الرقي عن بشر الشيباني قال: سألت ابا عبد الله عليه‌ السلام عن ذبائح اليهود والنصارى والنصاب قال فلوى شدقه وقال: كلها إلى يوم ما

Muhammad Ibn Ali reported that Al-Halabi asked Imam As-Sadiq (a.): “What is the situation of the slaughtered of the Murji’is and Harurites?” He said: “Eat and stay calm and do not worry until what will be is what will be.” [Al-Faqih of As-Saduq, volume 3, page 329, hadith 4179]
عن محمد بن علي أن الحلبي سأل الإمام الصادق عليه السلام عن ذبيحة المرجي والحروري قال فقال: كل وقر واستقر حتى يكون ما يكون
Muhammad Ibn Muslim reported that Imam Al-Baqir (a.) was asked: “What is the position of buying meat from the markets, not knowing what the butchers do?” He said: “Eat when it is in the markets of Muslims and do not ask questions about it.” [Al-Faqih of As-Saduq, Volume 3, Page 332, Hadith 4185]
عن محمد بن مسلم أن الإمام الباقر عليه السلام سئل عن شراء اللحم من الاسواق ولا يدرى ما يصنع القصابون؟ فقال: كل إذا كان في أسواق المسلمين ولا تسأل عنه

Husain Ibn Mukhtar reported that Husain Ibn Abdillah said: “Mu’alla Ibn Khunais and Ibn Abi Ya’fur accompanied each other on a journey, whereupon one of them ate the slaughtered of the Jews and the Nazarenes, while the other refused to eat it. Afterwards the two of them met at Abu Abdillah As-Sadiq (a.) and told him about it, whereupon he said: “Which of you two was the one who refused it?” He said: “Me.” He said: “Well done.” [Al-Wafi of Al-Kashani, Volume 19, Page 249, Hadith 19331]

وعنه، عن حماد بن عيسى، عن الحسين بن المختار، عن الحسين بن عبد الله قال: اصطحب المعلى بن خنيس وابن أبي يعفور في سفر فأكل أحدهما ذبيحة اليهود والنصارى وأبي الآخر عن أكلها فاجتمعا عند أبي عبد الله عليه السلام فأخبراه فقال: أيكما الذي أبي؟ قال: أنا قال: أحسنت
