Rifa’ah An-Nakhas reported that he asked Imam Al-Kazim (a.):“The Romans attack the people of Saqalibah and steal their children from among the girls and boys, whereupon they turn to the boys and castrate them and then send them to Baghdad to the traders. What do you think about buying them, knowing that they have been stolen and assaulted without any war between them?” He said: “There is no problem in buying them. They merely took them out from Shirk, to the territory of submission (Islam).” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, Volume 5 Page 124 Hadith 9]

عدة من أصحابنا، عن سهل بن زياد، وأحمد بن محمد جميعا، عن ابن محبوب، عن رفاعة النخاس قال: قلت لأبي الحسن عليه السلام: إن الروم يغيرون على الصقالبة فيسرقون أولادهم من الجواري والغلمان فيعمدون إلى الغلمان فيخصونهم ثم يبعثون بهم إلى بغداد إلى التجار فما ترى في شرائهم ونحن نعلم أنهم قد سرقوا وإنما أغاروا عليهم من غير حرب كانت بينهم؟ فقال: لا بأس بشرائهم إنما أخرجوهم من الشرك إلى دار الاسلام
