Isma’il Al-Ansari writes:

رَوَى الـسَّـيِّـدُ مُـحَـمَّـدُ بْـنُ أَبِـي زَيْـدِ بْـنِ عَـرَبْـشَـاهَ الْـحُـسَـيْـنِـيُّ الْـعَـلَـوِيُّ الْـوَرَامِـيـنِـيُّ مَـا هُـوَ مُـعَـرَّبُـهُ إِنَّ رَسُـولَ الـلَّـهِ صَـلَّـى الـلَّـهُ عَـلَـيْـهِ وَآلِـهِ لَـمَّـا أُسْـرِيَ بِـهِ انْـتَـهَـى إِلَـى شَـجَـرَةٍ كَـثِـيـرَةِ الْـتُـفَّـاحِ فَـأَخَذَ مِـنْـهَـا تُـفَّـاحَـةً وَلَـمَّـا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَـتَـنَـاوَلَـهَـا أَكَـلَ الـنِـصْـفَ مِـنْـهَـا وَطَـارَ نِـصْـفُـهَـا الْآخَـرُ وَاخْـتَـفَـى وَحَـلَـقَ الـلَّـهُ تَـبَـارَكَ وَتَـعَـالَـى مِـنْ نِـصْـفِ هَـذِهِ الـتُّـفَّـاحَـةِ ذَا الْـفِـقَـارِ وَمِـنْ نِـصْـفِـهَـا الَّـتِـي أَكَـلَـهَـا رَسُـولَ الـلَّـهِ صَـلَّـى الـلَّـهُ عَـلَـيْـهِ وَآلِـه نُـطْـفَـةَ فَـاطِـمَـةَ صَـلَّـى الـلَّـهُ عَـلَـيْـهَـا وَلَـمَّـا جَـاءَ عَـلِـيٌّ صَـلَّـى الـلَّـهُ عَـلَـيْـهِ الْـبَـيْـتَ سَـمِـعَ مُـكَـالَـمَـةَ الـزَّهْـرَاءِ صَـلَّـى الـلَّـهُ عَـلَـيْـهَـا فَـسَـأَلَـهَـا يَـا فَـاطِـمَـةُ مَـعَ مَـنْ تَـتَـكَـلَّـمِـيـنَ؟ فَـأَجَـابَـتْ مَـعَ أَخِـي ذِي الْـفِـقَـارِ

“Sayyid Muhammad ibn Abi Zaid ibn Arabshah Al-Husaini Al-Alawi Al-Waramini narrated, which reads in Arabic: When the Messenger of God (s) was made to travel by night, he came to a tree that bore many apples. So he plucked an apple from it. When he was about to eat it, he ate half of it, while the other half flew away and disappeared. God created from the half of this apple Dhu l-Fiqar and from its half, which the Messenger of God (s.) ate, the drop of Fatimah (a.). When Ali (a.) arrived home, he heard the conversation of Fatimah (a.). So he asked her: “Who are you talking to?” Then she replied: “With my brother Dhu l-Fiqar.” [Al-Mawsu’at-ul-Kubra, vol. 2, p. 33]
