Imam Sadiq (a) said: “Do not envy a creature, only because the people listen to him, for if the people listen to him and follow him [the creature] while it is wrong, that is his downfall and also of those who followed him .”[Al-Kafi, volume 2, page 86]

ولا تغبطن مخلوقا بطاعة الناس له، فإن طاعة الناس له واتباعهم إياه على غير الحق هلاك له ولمن اتبعه
