“You do not let the dead hear, and You do not let the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs.” [An-Naml 27:80]

Nasr ibn Muzahim reported about Habib ibn Salamah Al-Fihri: “Shurahbil and Ma’n ibn Yazid said to him: ﴾Do you testify that Uthman was killed unjustly?﴿ Then he said to them: ﴾I do not say that.﴿ They said: ﴾Whoever does not testify that Uthman was killed unjustly, we distance ourselves from him.﴿ Then they both got up and left. Then Ali (a.) said: ﴾You do not let the dead hear and you do not let the deaf hear the call when their backs are turned (27:80) and you do not guide the blind out of their misguidance. You do not let hear except the one who believes in Our Signs. So they are the submitters.﴿ (27:81) Then he went to his companions and said: ﴾These are not more serious in their misguidance than you are in your right and obedience to your Imam.﴿” [Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, Vol. 32, page. 456 – 457, Hadith 394]
