Narrated by Ibn ʿUqdah, by Aḥmad ibn Yūsuf, by Ismāʿīl ibn Mihrān, by Ibn al-Baṭāʾinī, by his father, and Wahīb, by Abī Baṣīr, he said: Abū ʿAbdillāh (peace be upon him) said:“Everyone among you should prepare for the uprising of al-Qāʾim, even if it is [by] an arrow. If Allah knows your intention, Allah can increase your age so much that you will live till his time, and you could be among his supporters.” [Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, p. 366]

الغيبة للنعماني: ابن عقدة، عن أحمد بن يوسف، عن إسماعيل بن مهران، عن ابن البطائني، عن أبيه، ووهيب، عن أبي بصير قال: قال أبو عبد الله عليه السلام: ليعد [ن] أحدكم لخروج القائم ولو سهما فان الله إذا علم ذلك من نيته رجوت لان ينسئ في عمره حتى يدركه، ويكون من أعوانه وأنصاره
