Who are the worst creatures in the 6th verse of the 98th chapter “Al-Bayyinah”?

Jabir ibn Abdillah reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: “Have you not heard the statement of God in His Book: “Those of the People of the Book and the associates, who disbelieve, will be in the Fire of Hell, wherein they will abide forever. These are the worst of creatures?” (98:6) The Commander of the Believers (a.) said: “Yes, they are, O Messenger of God.” He said: “These are your enemies and their followers. They will come forth on the Day of Resurrection with dark faces and as thirsty, miserable, punished and disbelieving hypocrites.” [Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 24 page 264]

عن محمد بن محمد عن محمد بن العباس عن أحمد بن محمد الوراق عن أحمد بن إبراهيم عن الحسن بن أبي عبد الله عن مصعب بن سلام عن أبي حمزة الثمالي عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ألم تسمع قول الله عز وجل في كتابه إن الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب والمشركين في نار جهنم خالدين فيها أولئك هم شر البرية؟ قال (أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام): بلى يا رسول الله قال: هم أعداؤك وشيعتهم يجيؤون يوم القيامة مسودة وجوههم ظماء مظمئين أشقياء معذبين كفارا منافقين

عن فرات بن إبراهيم عن عبيد بن كثير عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: أولم تسمع قول الله في كتابه إن الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب والمشركين في نار جنهم خالدين فيها أولئك هم شر البرية؟ قال (أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام): بلى يا رسول الله قال: هم عدوك وشيعتهم يجيئون يوم القيامة ظماء مظمئين أشقياء معذبين كفار منافقين

Abu Al-Hasan Al-Qummi writes: “As for His statement: “Those of the People of the Book and the Associates, who disbelieve, will be in the Fire of Hell, wherein they will abide forever.” (98:6) So God revealed the Qur’an to them, but they became apostate and disbelievers and rebelled against the Commander of the Believers (a.): “These are the worst of creatures.” [Tafsir Al-Qummi, Vol. 2 page 432]

قال أبو الحسن القمي: قوله ان الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب والمشركين في نار جهنم خالدين قال: انزل الله عليهم القرآن فارتدوا فكفروا وعصوا أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام أولئك هم شر البرية
