“Whoever obeys God and the Messenger, so those are with those whom God has shown mercy from among the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses and the righteous and how good they are as companions.” [An-Nisa’ 4:69]

ومن يطع الله والرسول فأولئك مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسُن أولئك رفيقا

Ibn Awramah reported that Yunus said: “I said to Abu l-Hasan Ar-Rida (a.) or wrote to him: ﴾People are asking me for the name of Hasan (a.) in the Book of God. But I lack the knowledge about it.﴿ Then he said: ﴾Yet it is the word of God: “Whoever obeys God and the Messenger, those are with those whom God has shown mercy from the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses and the righteous and Hasan. Those as companions.” (4:69) This is exactly how it was revealed.﴿” [Al-Qira’at of As-Sayyari, page 42, hadith 155]

بعض الهاشميين عن ابن أورمة عن يونس قال: قلت لأبي الحسن الرضا عليه السلام أو كتبت إليه: إن قوما طالبوني باسم الحسن في كتاب الله جل ذكره فلم أعرفه فقال: بلى هو قول الله جل وعز ومن يطع الله والرسول فأولئك مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسَن أولئك رفيقا هكذا نزلت

Ibn-ul-Juham reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “O Messenger of God, can we visit you in Paradise as many times as we want?” He said: “O Ali, every Prophet has a companion. The first one, who submitted from his nation.” Thereupon this verse was revealed: ﴾Those are with those whom God has shown mercy from among the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses and the righteous and how good those are as companions.﴿ (4:69) Then the Messenger of God (s.) called Ali, whereupon he said to him: “God has revealed the explanation of what you asked for. So He made you my companion, for you are the first, to submit and you are the most truthful.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, vol. 38, p. 247, hadith 41]

ابن الجحام عن علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام قال: يا رسول الله هل نقدر أن نزورك في الجنة كلما أردنا قال: يا علي إن لكل نبي رفيقا أول من أسلم من أمته فنزلت هذه الآية فأولئك مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقا فدعا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله عليا فقال له: إن الله قد أنزل بيان ما سألت فجعلك رفيقي لأنك أول من أسلم وأنت الصديق الأكبر

Sulaiman Al-Minqari reported that Hafs Ibn Ghayyath said: “I asked Abu Abdillah (As-Sadiq) about the abstinent from among the people. Then he said: ﴾He who abstains from that which is forbidden by God.﴿” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Vol. 67, page 299, Hadith 8.]

الكافي عن علي عن أبيه وعلي بن محمد عن القاسم بن محمد عن سليمان المنقري عن حفص بن غياث قال: سألت أبا عبد الله عليه السلام عن الورع من الناس فقال: الذي يتورع عن محارم الله عز وجل

Abu s-Sabbah Al-Kinani reported that Imam Al-Baqir (a.) said: “Assist us through abstinence, for whoever of you meets God with abstinence will be granted salvation by God. God says: ﴾Whoever obeys God and the Messenger, those are with those whom God has shown mercy from among the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses and the righteous and how good those are as companions.﴿ (4:69) So from us is the prophet and from us the truthful and the witnesses and the righteous.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 67, Page 301, Hadith 11]

الكافي عن محمد عن أحمد عن علي بن الحكم عن سيف بن عميرة عن أبي الصباح الكناني عن محمد بن علي الباقر عليه السلام قال: أعينونا بالورع فإنه من لقي الله عز وجل منكم بالورع كان له عند الله فرجا إن الله عز وجل يقول: ومن يطع الله ورسوله فأولئك مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقا فمنا النبي ومنا الصديق والشهداء والصالحون

Ali ibn Hazawwar reported that Asbagh ibn Nubatah said: “I saw the Commander of the Believers (a.) on the day he conquered Basrah and rode on the mule of the Messenger of God (s.). Hereupon he said: ﴾O you people, shall I not inform you about the best of creatures on the day which God will gather them?﴿ Then Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari went to him, whereupon he said: ﴾ O Commander of the Believers. Tell us, for you were present and we were absent.﴿ So he said: ﴾The best creatures are seven from the progeny of Abd-ul-Muttalib. None denies their merit except an unbeliever, and none denies it except for a rejector.﴿ Then Ammar ibn Yasir stood up, whereupon he said: ﴾O Commander of the believers, name them to us that we may know them. ﴿ So he said: ﴾The best creatures on the day when God gathers them are the messengers and the best of the messengers is Muhammad and the best of each nation after its prophet is the representative of its prophet until a prophet catches up with him. Behold, the best of the representatives are the representatives of Muhammad (s.). Behold, the best creatures after the representatives are the witnesses. Behold, the best of the witnesses are Hamzah Ibn Abdi l-Muttalib and Ja’far Ibn Abi Talib. He has two colored wings with which he flies in Paradise. From this nation, no one else was given two wings except for him. Something with which God valued Muhammad (s.) and honored him and the two grandsons, Hasan and Husain and the Rightly Guided (Mahdi). God does it to the one, whom He wants from us the people of the House.﴿ Hereupon he read this verse: ﴾Whoever obeys God and the Messenger, those are with those whom God has shown mercy from the prophets, truthful, witnesses and righteous and how good those are as companions. This is the mercy from God and God is sufficient as a knower.﴿” (4:69-70) [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Vol. 22, page 282, Hadith 41]

الكافي عن محمد بن يحيى عن أحمد بن محمد عن ابن فضال عن الحسين بن علوان الكلبي عن علي بن الحزور الغنوي، عن أصبغ بن نباتة الحنظلي قال: رأيت أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام يوم افتتح البصرة وركب بغلة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله ثم قال: يا أيها الناس ألا أخبركم بخير الخلق يوم يجمعهم الله فقام إليه أبو أيوب الأنصاري فقال: بلى يا أمير المؤمنين حدثنا فإنك كنت تشهد ونغيب فقال: إن خير الخلق يوم يجمعهم الله سبعة من ولد عبد المطلب لا ينكر فضلهم إلا كافر، ولا يجحد به إلا جاحد فقام عمار بن ياسر رحمه الله فقال: يا أمير المؤمنين سمهم لنا لنعرفهم، فقال: إن خير الخلق يوم يجمعهم الله الرسل، وإن أفضل الرسل محمد وإن أفضل كل أمة بعد نبيها وصي نبيها حتى يدركه نبي، ألا وإن أفضل الأوصياء وصي محمد صلى الله عليه وآله ألا وإن أفضل الخلق بعد الأوصياء الشهداء، ألا وإن أفضل الشهداء حمزة بن عبد المطلب، وجعفر بن أبي طالب، له جناحان خضيبان يطير بهما في الجنة، لم ينحل أحد من هذه الأمة جناحان غيره، شئ كرم الله به محمدا صلى الله عليه وآله وشرفه، والسبطان: الحسن والحسين، والمهدي عليه السلام يجعله الله من يشاء منا أهل البيت، ثم تلا هذه الآية: ومن يطع الله والرسول فأولئك مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقا ذلك الفضل من الله وكفى بالله عليما

Qais Ibn Abi Hazim reported that Umm Salamah said: “I asked the Messenger of God (s) about the word of God: ﴾Those are with those whom God has shown mercy from the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses and the righteous and how good those are as companions. ﴿ (4:69) He said: ﴾Those whom God showed mercy from the prophets, is me and the truthful is Ali Ibn Abi Talib and the witnesses are Hasan and Husain and the righteous is Hamzah and how good are those as companions, the twelve Imams after me.﴿” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Vol. 36, Page 347, Hadith 214]

الكفاية عن المعافا بن زكريا عن أبي سليمان أحمد بن أبي هراسة عن إبراهيم بن إسحاق النهاوندي عن عبد الله بن حماد الأنصاري عن عثمان بن أبي شيبة عن حريز عن الأعمش عن الحكم بن عتيبة عن قيس بن أبي حازم عن أم سلمة قالت: سألت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله عن قول الله سبحانه وتعالى: فأولئك مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقا قال: الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين أنا والصديقين علي بن أبي طالب والشهداء الحسن والحسين والصالحين حمزة وحسن أولئك رفيقا الأئمة الاثنا عشر بعدي

Abu Basir reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “God has mentioned you in His Book. Thus He said: ﴾Whoever obeys God and the Messenger, those are with those whom God has shown mercy from the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses and the righteous and how good those are as companions.﴿ (4:69) Thus Muhammad (s.) is the prophets and we are the truthful and the witnesses and you are the righteous. So let yourselves be named as the righteous ones as God has named you, for, by God, He meant none but you. Have I now cheered you up?” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 47, Page 392, Hadith 114]

الاختصاص عن ابن الوليد عن ابن متيل عن النهاوندي عن أحمد بن سليمان الديلمي عن أبيه عن أبي بصير عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام قال: لقد ذكركم الله في كتابه فقال ومن يطع الله ورسوله فأولئك مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقا فمحمد صلى الله عليه وآله النبيين و ونحن الصديقين و الشهداء وأنتم الصالحون فتسموا بالصلاح كما سماكم الله فوالله ما عنى غيركم فهل سررتك

Husain Ibn Ali reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “Someone from the helpers came to the Prophet (s.), whereupon he said: ﴾O Messenger of God, I am not able to separate from you and I certainly enter my shelter, whereupon I think of you. So I refrain from my work and come to look at you for the love of you. Then I remember that when the day of resurrection arrives and you are taken to paradise, whereupon you are lifted up to the highest heights, how about me with you, O prophet of God?﴿ Then God revealed: ﴾Whoever obeys God and the Messenger, those are with those whom God has shown mercy from among the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses and the righteous and how good those are as companions.﴿ (4:69) So the Prophet (s.) called the person, whereupon he read it to him and gave him the glad tidings of it.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 65, Page 70, Hadith 127]

أمالي الطوسي عن جماعة عن أبي المفضل عن جعفر بن محمد العلوي عن موسى بن عبد الله بن الحسن عن أبيه عن جده، عن أبيه عبد الله بن الحسن عن أبيه عن خاله علي بن الحسين عن الحسن والحسين ابني علي بن أبي طالب عن أبيهما علي بن أبي طالب عليهم السلام قال: جاء رجل من الأنصار إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وآله فقال: يا رسول الله ما أستطيع فراقك، وإني لادخل منزلي فأذكرك فأترك صنيعتي وأقبل حتى أنظر إليك حبا لك، فذكرت إذا كان يوم القيامة وأدخلت الجنة فرفعت في أعلى عليين فكيف لي بك يا نبي الله فنزل ومن يطع الله والرسول فأولئك مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقا فدعا النبي الرجل فقرأها عليه وبشره بذلك

Husain Ibn Ali (a.) reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “The Riser (Qa’im) from among us has a concealment that lasts for a long time. It is as if I see the followers. They roam around like the roaming of the cattle. They are looking for a pasture. But they do not find it. Behold, whoever of them holds fast to his religion while his heart does not harden because of the long duration of the concealment of his Imam (a.), he is with me in my stage on the Day of Resurrection.” Then he said: “When the Riser (Qa’im) rises from us, he has no oath of allegiance on his neck. Therefore, his birth is concealed and his person is hidden.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Vol. 51, pp. 109 – 110, Hadith 1]

إكمال الدين الشيباني عن الأسدي عن سهل عن عبد العظيم الحسني عن محمد بن علي عن علي بن موسى عن موسى بن جعفر عن جعفر بن محمد عن محمد بن علي عن علي بن الحسين عن الحسين بن علي عن علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام قال: للقائم منا غيبة أمدها طويل كأني بالشيعة يجولون جولان النعم في غيبته يطلبون المرعى فلا يجدونه ألا فمن ثبت منهم على دينه لم يقس قلبه لطول أمد غيبة إمامه فهو معي في درجتي يوم القيامة ثم قال عليه السلام: إن القائم منا إذا قام لم يكن لاحد في عنقه بيعة فلذلك تخفى ولادته ويغيب شخصه

Abdullah ibn Abbas reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) was asked: “Teach me about the way of death of Ali, Hasan, and Husain.” He said: “Ali is killed with a blow on his head, Hasan is killed with poison and Husain is killed through slaughter.” Then one said: “Where then is their place?” He said: “In Paradise in my stage.” [Ilzam-un-Nasib of Al-Ha’iri, Volume 1, Page 170.]

فرائد السمطين عن مجاهد عن عبد الله بن عباس عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله أنه سئل: أخبرني كيفية موت علي والحسن والحسين قال صلى الله عليه وآله: يقتل علي بضربة على قرنه والحسن يقتل بالسم والحسين بالذبح فقيل: فأين مكانهم قال صلى الله عليه وآله: في الجنة في درجتي

Muhammad Al-Baqir (a.) reported, that Jesus Christ (a.) said: “Which of you will appear in my form, whereupon he will be killed and crucified, and he will be with me in my stage?” A youth among them said: “I, O Spirit of God.” He said: “Then you are the one.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 14, Page 337, Hadith 6]

تفسير علي بن إبراهيم عن أبيه عن ابن أبي عمير عن جميل بن صالح عن حمران بن أعين عن محمد بن علي الباقر عليه السلام عن عيسى عليه السلام قال: فأيكم يلقى عليه شبحي فيقتل ويصلب ويكون معي في درجتي فقال شاب منهم: أنا يا روح الله قال: فأنت هوذا

Yusuf ibn Imran reported that Mitham An-Nahrawani said: “The Commander of the Believers called me and said: ﴾What about you, O Mitham, when the bastard of the Children of Umayyah, Ubaidullah ibn Ziyad, calls you to distance (Bara’ah) from me?﴿ Then I said: ﴾O Commander of the Believers, I do not distance myself from you.﴿ He said: ﴾Then, by God, you will be killed and crucified.﴿ He said: ﴾Then, by God, you will be killed and crucified.﴿ I said: ﴾I will endure it, for that is small for the sake of God.﴿ Then he said: ﴾O Mitham, you will be with me in my stage.﴿” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 42, Page 130, Hadith 13.]

جبرئيل بن أحمد، عن محمد بن عبد الله بن مهران عن محمد بن علي الصيرفي عن علي بن محمد عن يوسف بن عمران الميثمي عن ميثم النهرواني قال: دعاني أمير المؤمنين صلوات الله عليه وقال: كيف أنت يا ميثم إذا دعاك دعي بني أمية عبيد الله بن زياد إلى البراءة مني فقلت يا أمير المؤمنين: أنا والله لا أبرأ منك قال: إذن والله يقتلك ويصلبك قلت: أصبر فذاك في الله قليل فقال: يا ميثم إذا تكون معي في درجتي

Jabir reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: “Be of a cheerful mind, O Ali. There is no servant, who loves you and devotes himself to loving you, except that God will raise him up with us on the Day of Resurrection.” Then the Prophet (s.) read this verse: ﴾The mindful are in the gardens and streams. At the seat of truthfulness. In the presence of a mighty king.﴿ (54:54-55) [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 7, Page 209, Hadith 100]

تفسير فرات بن إبراهيم عن أبي القاسم الحسني رفعه عن جابر عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله قال: ابشر يا علي ما من عبد يحبك وينتحل مودتك إلا بعثه الله يوم القيامة معنا ثم قرأ النبي صلى الله عليه وآله هذه الآية: إن المتقين في جنات ونهر في مقعد صدق عند مليك مقتدر

Al-Harawi reported that Imam Ar-Rida (a.) was asked: “O son of the Messenger of God, this grave that is in Tus, whose grave is it?” Whereupon Ar-Rida (a.) said: “My grave and the days and nights do not pass until Tus becomes a place of gathering for my followers and visitors. Behold, whoever visits me now in my foreign land in Tus will be in my stage on the Day of Resurrection.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, vol. 49, p. 239, hadith 9]

عيون أخبار الرضا عن المكتب والوراق معا عن علي عن أبيه عن الهروي عن علي بن موسى الرضا عليه السلام أنه سئل: يا ابن رسول الله هذا القبر الذي بطوس قبر من هو فقال الرضا عليه السلام: قبري ولا تنقضي الأيام والليالي حتى يصير طوس مختلف شيعتي وزواري ألا فمن زارني في غربتي بطوس كان معي في درجتي يوم القيامة

Nawf Al-Bakali reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “O Nawf, if you desire to be with me on the Day of Resurrection, then do not be a supporter of the unjust. O Nawf, whoever loves us, is with us on the Day of Resurrection and if someone loved a stone, God would gather him together with him.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Vol. 74, page 383, Hadith 9]

أمالي الصدوق عن ابن إدريس عن أبيه عن ابن أبي الخطاب عن المغيرة ابن محمد عن بكر بن خنيس عن أبي عبد الله الشامي عن نوف البكالي عن علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام قال: يا نوف إن سرك أن تكون معي يوم القيامة فلا تكن للظالمين معينا يا نوف من أحبنا كان معنا يوم القيامة ولو أن رجلا أحب حجرا لحشره الله معه

Husain ibn Ali (a.) reported that Imam Ali (a.) said: “The Messenger of God (s.) took the hand of Hasan and Husain, after which he said: ﴾Whoever loves these two and their father and mother, he is with me in my stage on the Day of Resurrection.﴿” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, volume 65, page 124, hadith 52]

بشارة المصطفى بالاسناد إلى الصدوق عن العسكري عن محمد بن منصور وأبي يزيد القرشي عن نصر بن علي الجهضمي عن علي بن جعفر عن موسى بن جعفر عن جعفر بن محمد عن محمد بن علي عن علي بن الحسين عن الحسين بن علي عن علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام قال: أخذ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله بيد الحسن والحسين فقال: من أحب هذين وأباهما وأمهما كان معي في درجتي يوم القيامة

Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.) reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: “Sha’ban is my month and the month of Ramadan is the month of God. So whoever fasts one day of my month, he is awarded Paradise and whoever fasts two days of it, he is one of the companions of the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses and the righteous on the day of resurrection (4:69) and whoever fasts three days, he is with me in my stage on the day of resurrection and whoever fasts the whole month and connects it to the month of Ramadan, it is a repentance from every sin, small or great, even if it is of forbidden blood.” [Al-Fada’il of As-Saduq, page 116, hadith 110]

علي بن أحمد بن علي بن عبد الله البرقي عن أبيه عن جده أحمد بن أبي عبد الله عن أبيه عن ابن فضال عن هارون بن مسلم عن جعفر بن محمد عن محمد بن علي عن علي بن الحسين عن الحسين بن علي عن علي بن أبي طالب عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: شعبان شهري وشهر رمضان شهر الله تبارك وتعالى فمن صام من شهري يوما وجبت له الجنة ومن صام منه يومين كان من رفقاء النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين يوم القيامة ومن صام ثلاثة أيام كان معي في درجتي يوم القيامة ومن صام الشهر كله ووصله بشهر رمضان كان ذلك توبة له من كل ذنب صغيرا وكبيرا ولو من دم حرام

Fathullah reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: “Whoever enters into the temporary partnership once, his stage is like the stage of Husain and whoever enters into it twice, his stage is like the stage of Hasan and whoever enters into it three times, his stage is like the stage of Ali Ibn Abi Talib and whoever enters into it four times, his stage is like my stage.” [Manhaj-us-Sadiqin of Al-Kashani, Volume 2, Page 493]

فتح الله بن شكر الله عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: من تمتع مرة كان درجته كدرجة الحسين عليه السلام ومن تمتع مرتين فدرجته كدرجة الحسن عليه السلام ومن تمتع ثلاث مرات كان درجته كدرجة علي بن أبي طالب عليهما السلام ومن تمتع أربع مرات فدرجته كدرجتي

Muhammad ibn Hasan reported that Anas ibn Malik said: “The Messenger of God (s) led us in the morning prayer for a few days. Then he came to us with his noble face. So I said: ﴾Can you interpret His word to us: “Whoever obeys God and the Messenger, those are with those whom God has shown mercy from the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses and the righteous and how good those are as companions. “﴿ (4:69) Then he said: ﴾As for the prophets, that is me, as for the truthful, that is my brother Ali, as for the witnesses, that is my uncle Hamzah and as for the righteous, that is my daughter Fatimah and her offspring Hasan and Husain.﴿ He said: ﴾Abbas was present. Then he jumped up and sat before the Messenger of God (s.) and said: ﴾Does not me, you, Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husain come from one source?﴿ He said: ﴾What is this about, O uncle?﴿ He said: ﴾Because you recognize Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husain while ignoring us.﴿” He said: “Then the Prophet (s.) smiled and said: ﴾As for your word, O uncle: “Do we not come from one source?” So you are right. However, O uncle, God created me and Ali and Fatimah and Hasan and Husain before He created Adam, when there was neither an erected sky, nor a flat ground, nor darkness, nor light, nor sun, nor moon, nor paradise, nor fire. ﴿ So Abbas said: ﴾How was the beginning of your creation, O Messenger of God?﴿ Then he said: ﴾O uncle, when God was about to create us, He said one word. From it He created a light. Then He said another word. So He created from it a spirit. Then He mixed the light with the spirit. Thus He created me, Ali, Fatimah, Hasan and Husain. Then we used to praise Him when there was no praise and sanctify Him when there was no sanctification. When God wanted to bring forth the creation, He separated my light. So He created the throne from it. So the throne is from my light and my light is from the light of God and my light is better than the throne. Then He separated the light from my brother Ali. So He created from him the angels. So the angels are from the light of my brother Ali and the light of Ali is from the light of God and Ali is better than the angels. Then He separated the light of my daughter. So He created from it the heavens and the earth. So the heavens and the earth are from the light of my daughter Fatimah and the light of my daughter Fatimah is from the light of God and my daughter Fatimah is better than the heavens and the earth. Then He separated the light of my son Hasan and created from him the sun and the moon. Thus, the sun and the moon are from the light of my son Hasan and the light of my son Hasan is from the light of God and Hasan is better than the sun and the moon. Then He separated the light of my son Husain. So He created from him the Paradise and the women of Paradise. Thus, Paradise and the women of Paradise are from the light of my son Husain and the light of my son Husain is from the light of God. Thus, my son Husain is better than Paradise and the women of Paradise. Thereupon God told the darknesses to go past the visible clouds. Thus the heavens darkened for the angels. Then the angels burst out in loud sanctification and praise and said:”Our God and Lord, since You created us and made these appearances known to us, we have seen no misfortune. By the right of these appearances, just let this darkness depart from us.” Then God made from the light of my daughter Fatimah come forth a candlestick. So He put them up inside the throne. Then the heavens and the earth shone. Hereupon she shone by her light. Therefore, she was called the Radiant One (Zahra’). So the angels said: “Our God and Lord, to whom does this radiant light belong, by which the heavens and the earth were shining?” Then God revealed to them: “This is a light which I created from the Light of My Majesty for My servant Fatimah, the daughter of My beloved and the spouse of My close one, brother of My Prophet and father of My proofs to My servants in My localities. I take you to witness that until the Day of Resurrection, I have awarded the reward of your praise and sanctification to this woman and her followers and lovers.﴿” He said: “When Abbas heard that from the Messenger of God (s. ), he jumped up and kissed the forehead of Ali and said: ﴾O Ali, you are the most conclusive proof of the one who believed in God and the Last Day.﴿” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 37, Page 82 – 84, Hadith 51]

كنز جامع الفوائد وتأويل الآيات الظاهرة من كتاب مصباح الأنوار لشيخ الطائفة بإسناده عن أنس بن مالك قال: صلى بنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله في بعض الأيام صلاة الفجر ثم أقبل علينا بوجهه الكريم فقلت له: يا رسول الله إن رأيت أن تفسر لنا قوله تعالى: فأولئك مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقا فقال صلى الله عليه وآله: أما النبيون فأنا وأما الصديقون فأخي علي، وأما الشهداء فعمي حمزة، وأما الصالحون فابنتي فاطمة وأولادها الحسن والحسين قال: وكان العباس حاضرا فوثب وجلس بين يدي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وقال: ألسنا أنا وأنت وعلي وفاطمة والحسن والحسين من نبعة واحدة قال: وما ذاك يا عم قال: لأنك تعرف بعلي وفاطمة والحسن والحسين دوننا، قال: فتبسم النبي وقال: أما قولك يا عم ألسنا من نبعة واحدة فصدقت، ولكن يا عم إن الله خلقني وخلق عليا وفاطمة والحسن والحسين قبل أن يخلق آدم عليه السلام حين لا سماء مبنية ولا أرض مدحية ولا ظلمة ولا نور ولا شمس ولا قمر ولا جنة ولا نار فقال العباس وكيف كان بدؤ خلقكم يا رسول الله فقال: يا عم لما أراد الله أن يخلقنا تكلم بكلمة خلق منها نورا ثم تكلم بكلمة أخرى فخلق منها روحا، ثم مزج النور بالروح، فخلقني وخلق عليا وفاطمة والحسن والحسين عليهم السلام، فكنا نسبحه حين لا تسبيح ونقدسه حين لا تقديس فلما أراد الله تعالى أن ينشئ الصنعة فتق نوري فخلق منه العرش، فالعرش من نوري ونوري من نور الله ونوري أفضل من العرش، ثم فتق نور أخي علي فخلق منه الملائكة، فالملائكة من نور أخي علي ونور علي من نور الله وعلي أفضل من الملائكة، ثم فتق نور ابنتي فاطمة فخلق منه السماوات والأرض، فالسماوات والأرض من نور ابنتي فاطمة ونور ابنتي فاطمة من نور الله تعالى وابنتي فاطمة أفضل من السماوات والأرض، ثم فتق نور ولدي الحسن وخلق منه الشمس والقمر فالشمس والقمر من نور ولدي الحسن ونور ولدي الحسن من نور الله والحسن أفضل من الشمس والقمر، ثم فتق نور ولدي الحسين فخلق منه الجنة والحور العين، فالجنة والحور العين من نور ولدي الحسين ونور ولدي الحسين من نور الله فولدي الحسين أفضل من الجنة والحور العين ثم أمر الله الظلمات أن تمر على سحائب النظر فأظلمت السماوات على الملائكة، فضجت الملائكة بالتقديس والتسبيح وقالت: إلهنا وسيدنا منذ خلقتنا وعرفتنا هذه الأشباح لم نر بأسا، فبحق هذه الأشباح إلا ما كشف عنا هذه الظلمة، فأخرج الله من نور ابنتي فاطمة قناديل فعلقها في بطنان العرش، فأزهرت السماوات والأرض، ثم أشرقت بنورها، فلأجل ذلك سميت الزهراء، فقالت الملائكة: إلهنا وسيدنا لمن هذا النور الزاهر الذي قد أشرقت به السماوات والأرض فأوحى الله إليها: هذا نور اخترعته من نور جلالي لامتي فاطمة ابنة حبيبي وزوجة وليي وأخي نبيي وأبو حججي على عبادي في بلادي، أشهدكم ملائكتي أني قد جعلت ثواب تسبيحكم وتقديسكم لهذه المرأة وشيعتها ومحبيها إلى يوم القيامة، قال: فلما سمع العباس من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله ذلك وثب وقبل بين عيني علي وقال: والله يا علي أنت الحجة البالغة لمن آمن بالله واليوم الآخر
