Jabir ibn Abdillah reported, that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: ,,Shall I not tell you about the worst of your wives?” They said: ,,Yes” He said: ,,Among the worst of your women belongs the abase among her relatives, the presumptuous one towards her partner, the sterilized one, the hateful one, who does not keep away from the abominable, who flaunts herself, when her husband is not with her, who is restrained with him when he is present, who does not listen to his word and does not obey his command and when her husband is alone with her, refuses him as the camel mare, refuses to submit when mounted and who neither accepts an apology from him nor forgives him a debt.” [At-Tahdhib of At-Tusi, Volume 7, Page 400, Hadith 1597]

عن الحسن بن محبوب عن علي بن رئاب عن أبي حمزة عن جابر بن عبد الله عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: الا أخبركم بشر نساءكم؟ قالوا: بلى قال: ان من شر نساءكم الذليلة في أهلها العزيزة مع بعلها العقيم الحقود التي لا تتورع من قبيح المتبرجة إذا غاب عنها بعلها الحصان معه إذا حضر التي لا تسمع قوله ولا تطيع امره وإذا خلا بها بعلها تمنعت منه تمنع الصعبة عند ركوبها ولا تقبل له عذرا ولا تغفر له ذنبا

Durais Al-Kunasi reported, that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,A woman came to the Messenger (s.) for some concerns, whereupon he said to her: ,,It may be, that you are among the preventing women.” She said: ,,Who are the preventing women, o Messenger of God?” He said: ,,The woman, whom her partner asks for because of some needs, whereupon she does not stop refusing him, until her partner gets tired and falls asleep. Therefore the angels do not cease, cursing her, until her partner wakes up.” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, Volume 5, Page 307, Hadith 2]

عنه عن موسى بن القاسم عن أبي جميلة عن ضريس الكناسي عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال: إن امرأة أتت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله لبعض الحاجة فقال لها لعلك من المسوفات قالت وما المسوفات يا رسول الله؟ قال: المرأة التي يدعوها زوجها لبعض الحاجة فلا تزال تسوفه حتى ينعس زوجها وينام فتلك لا تزال الملائكة تلعنها حتى يستيقظ زوجها

Muhammad ibn Muslim reported, that Imam Al-Baqir (a.) said: ,,A woman came to the Messenger (s.) and said: ,,O Messenger of God, what is the right of the partner over the wife?” He said: ,,She obeys him and does not disobey him and she does not donate anything from her house, except with his permission and she does not fast voluntarily, except with his permission and she does not refuse him, even if she sits on the back of the saddle of a camel.” [Al-Faqih of As-Saduq, Volume 3, Page 284, Hadith 4513]

روى الحسن بن محبوب عن مالك بن عطية عن محمد بن مسلم عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام قال: جاءت امرأة إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه واله فقالت: يا رسول الله ما حق الزوج على المرأة؟ فقال لها: تطيعه ولا تعصيه، ولا تصدق من بيتها شيئا إلا باذنه، ولا تصوم تطوعا إلا بإذنه، ولا تمنعه نفسها وإن كانت على ظهر قتب

Ja’far As-Sadiq (a.) reported, that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: ,,The angels do not stop, cursing the woman who until the awakening of her partner, is called by her partner because of some desire, whereupon she does not stop refusing him, until he gets tired and falls asleep.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 20, Page 165, Hadith 25317]

عن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله عن عن موسى بن القاسم عن أبي جميلة عن ضريس الكناسي عن جعفر الصادق عليه السلام عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: المرأة التي يدعوها زوجها لبعض الحاجة فلا تزال تسوفه حتى ينعس زوجها فينام فتلك التي لا تزال الملائكة يلعنها حتى يستيقظ زوجها

Fadl Ibn Hasan reported, that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: ,,It is not allowed (halal) for the woman to fall asleep, until she offers herself to her partner. She takes off her clothes and gets under a blanket with him, whereupon she presses her skin against his skin. So if she has done that, then she has already made the offer.” [Makarim-ul-Akhlaq of At-Tabarsi, page 306]

عن فضل بن حسن عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: لا يحل لامرأة ان تنام حتى تعرض نفسها على زوجها تخلع ثيابها وتدخل معه في لحافة فتلزق جلدها بجلده فإذا فعلت ذلك فقد عرضت

Abu Basir reported, that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,A woman came to the Messenger (s.) and said: ,,What is the right of the partner over the wife?” He said: ,,To fulfill him because of his desire, even if she sits on a camel saddle and not to give away anything, except with his permission and if she did, she will bear the burden and the reward will be his and she will not spend a night, whereby he will be angry with her.” She said: ,,O messenger of God, even if he is unjust?” He said: ,,Yes.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 20, Page 159, Hadith 25302]

وبالاسناد عن ابن أبي حمزة، عن أبي المغرا، عن أبي بصير عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال: أتت امرأة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله فقالت: ما حق الزوج على المرأة؟ قال: أن تجيبه إلى حاجته وان كانت على قتب ولا تعطي شيئا إلا باذنه فان فعلت فعليها الوزر وله الاجر ولا تبيت ليلة وهو عليها ساخط قالت: يا رسول الله وإن كان ظالما؟ قال: نعم

Nu’man ibn Muhammad reported, that someone complained to Imam Ali (a.): ,,His wife is in the habit of fasting frequently, whereby she refuses him.” He said: ,,She is not entitled to fast, except with your permission, unless it is an obligatory one, whereby it is imposed on her to fast it.” [Da’a’im-ul-Islam of Al-Maghribi, Volume 1, Page 285]

عن نعمان بن محمد عن الإمام علي صلى الله عليه: إن رجلا شكى إليه أن امرأته تكثر الصوم فتمنعه نفسها فقال لا صوم لها إلا باذنك إلا في واجب عليها أن تصومه
