Question:

A desperate proponent of the unrealistic ideas of unity made the strange claim that the scholar Ibn Tawus never narrated the cursing of the rulers after the Prophet (s.), is this in accordance with the facts?

Radi-ud-Din Ibn Tawus writes:

اللهم العن أول ظالم ظلم حق محمد وآل محمد وآخر تابع له على ذلك

,,God, send down Your curse on the first oppressor who oppressed the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and on the last one, who follows in his footsteps therein.” [Misbah-uz-Za’ir, page 271]

 

اللهم خص أنت أول ظالم باللعن مني وابدأ به أولا ثم الثاني والثالث والرابع

,,God, send down Your special curse from me on the first oppressor and start with him first. Then on the second, then on the third, then on the fourth.” [Misbah-uz-Za’ir, page 271]
