Ali Ibn Rayyan reported, that he wrote Imam Al-Hadi (a.): ,,A man is with a woman. He does not touch her, except behind her and its garment, so that he moves, until he climaxes. What is incumbent upon him and does he thereby reach the limit of masturbation?” He signed in the letter: ,,The one reaches the matter of it.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 20, page354 – 355, Hadith 1]

محمد بن يعقوب, عن عدة من أصحابنا, عن سهل بن زياد, عن علي بن الريان, عن أبي الحسن عليه السلام أنه كتب اليه: رجل يكون مع المرأة لا يباشرها إلا من وراء ثيابها وثيابه فيتحرك حتى ينزل ما الذي عليه وهل يبلغ به حد الخضخضة فوقع عليه السلام في الكتاب: ذلك بالغ أمره

Ala’ Ibn Razin reported, that a man asked Imam As-Sadiq (a.): ,,What is the matter of masturbation?” He said: ,,It belongs to the indecencies and to attend a maid is better than that.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, volume 20, page 353, hadith 5]

وعن عدة من أصحابنا, عن أحمد بن محمد بن خالد, عن العلاء بن رزين, عن رجل, عن أبي عبد الله عليها لسلام, قال: سألته عن الخضخضة فقال: هي من الفواحش ونكاح الامة خير منه

Muhammad ibn Isa reported, that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) was asked: ,,What is the matter of masturbation?” He said: ,,It is a great sin, that God already forbade in His Book and whoever does it is like someone, who has sexual intercourse (nikah) with himself and if I were to learn what he is commiting, I would not eat with him.” The questioner said: ,,Clarify it to me from the Book of God, o son of the Messenger!” He said: ,,It is the verse: ﴾But whoever desired anything beyond that, such are the transgressors.﴿ (23:7) It belongs to that which is beyond.” The man said: ,,Which of the two is greater? Fornication or that?” He said: ,,It is a great sin.” The speaker said: ,,Some sins are easier than others, but all sins are great with God, because they are disobedience and God does not love disobedience from the servants and He forbade us to do this, because it is a deed of Satan and He said: ﴾Do not serve Satan, because Satan is an enemy to you. So take him as your enemy. He only calls his party, to be among the companions of the blaze of fire.﴿” (35:6) [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 28, Page 364, Hadith 4]

أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى في نوادره عن أبيه, قال: سئل الصادق عليه السلام عن الخضخضة فقال: إثم عظيم قد نهى الله في كتابه, وفاعله كناكح نفسه, ولو علمت بما يفعله ما أكلت معه, فقال السائل: فبين لي يا ابن رسول الله من كتاب الله فيه فقال: قول الله: فمن ابتغى وراء ذلك فاولئك هم العادون وهو مما وراء ذلك, فقال الرجل: أيما أكبر الزنا أو هي فقال: هو ذنب عظيم, قد قال القائل بعض الذنب أهون من بعض والذنوب كلها عظيم عند الله لأنها معاصي وأن الله لا يحب من العباد العصيان, وقد نهانا الله عن ذلك لأنها عن عمل الشيطان, وقد قال: لا تعبدوا الشيطان إن الشيطان كان لكم عدو فاتخذوه عدوا إنما يدعوا حزبه ليكونوا من أصحاب السعير

Ammar reported, that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) about: ,,Someone, who unites with an animal, or rubs.” Said: ,,All of it, whereby one reaches his ejaculation and what resembles it, is fornication.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, volume 20, page 355, hadith 2]

وقد تقدم حديث عمار عن أبي عبد الله عليه‌ السلام في الرجل ينكح بهيمة أو يدلك فقال: كل ما أنزل الرجل به ماءه من هذا وشبهه فهو زنا

Abu Basir reported, that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,Three persons God does not honor with a word or a glance on the Day of Resurrection and does not declare them to be pure, whereby a painful punishment is inflicted upon them: Whoever plucks out his gray hairs, whoever has sexual intercourse (nikah) with himself and with whom one has sexual intercourse through his buttocks.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 20, page 353 – 354, Hadith 7]

محمد بن علي بن الحسين في الخصال: عن أبيه, عن سعد بن عبدالله, عن محمد بن خالد الطيالسي, عن عبد الرحمان بن عون, عن أبي نجران التميمي, عن عاصم بن حميد, عن أبي بصير قال: سمعت أبا عبد الله عليه السلام يقول: ثلاثة لا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة ولا ينظر اليهم ولا يزكيهم ولهم عذاب اليم: الناتف شيبه, والناكح نفسه, والمنكوح في دبره
