Abu Abdillah Al-Farra’ reported about Imam As-Sadiq (a.): ,,Someone from our companions said to him: ﴾Sometimes the timing is unclear to us on a cloudy day.﴿ So he said: ﴾Do you know these birds, that exist in your country in Iraq? They are called roosters.﴿ So he said: ﴾Yes.﴿ He said: ﴾When their crowing becomes louder and is heard all around, then pray.﴿” [Man La Yahduruh-ul-Faqih, Volume 1, Page 223, Hadith 669]

وروى أبو عبد الله الفراء عن الصادق عليه السلام إنه قال له رجل من أصحابنا: إنه ربما اشتبه علينا الوقت في يوم غيم فقال: تعرف هذه الطيور التي تكون عندكم بالعراق يقال لها الديوك فقال: نعم قال: إذا ارتفعت أصواتها وتجاوبت فعند ذلك فصل

Husain ibn Mukhtar reported, that someone said: ,,I said to Abu Abdillah (As-Sadiq): ﴾I am someone, who calls to prayer (muadhin). When it is a cloudy day, I cannot tell the timing.﴿ He said: ﴾When the rooster crows three times in a row, the sun has tilted and the time for prayer has arrived.﴿” [Tahdhib-ul-Ahkam of At-Tusi, Volume 2, Page 255, Hadith 1011]

سهل بن زياد عن محمد بن إبراهيم عن النوفلي عن الحسين ابن المختار عن رجل قال قلت لأبي عبد الله عليه السلام: إني رجل مؤذن فإذا كان يوم الغيم لم أعرف الوقت قال: إذا صاح الديك ثلاثة أصوات ولاء فقد زالت الشمس ودخل وقت الصلاة

Isma’il Ibn Rabah reported, that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,If you pray and think that you are in time, although time has not yet arrived, after which the time arrives while you are in prayer, then it is sufficient for you.” And Sama’ah ibn Mihran questioned him about the prayer by night and by day: ,,When we neither see the sun, nor the moon, nor the stars.” Then he said: ,,Make an effort in your consideration and strive with your effort for the direction of prayer.” [Man La Yahduruh-ul-Faqih of As-Saduq, Volume 1, Page 222, Hadith 667 – 668]

وروى إسماعيل بن رباح عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام أنه قال: إذا صليت وأنت ترى أنك في وقت ولم يدخل الوقت، فدخل الوقت وأنت في الصلاة فقد أجزأت عنك وسأله سماعة بن مهران عن الصلاة بالليل والنهار إذا لم تر الشمس والقمر ولا النجوم، فقال: تجتهد رأيك وتعمد القبلة بجهدك

Hisham ibn Salim reported, that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,God is more kind than that He imposes on the people, what they are not able to do and God is more powerful than that something takes place under His rule, which He does not want to take place.” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, Volume 1, Page 160, Hadith 14]

عدة من أصحابنا، عن أحمد بن محمد البرقي، عن علي بن الحكم، عن هشام بن سالم، عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال: الله أكرم من أن يكلف الناس ما لا يطيقون والله أعز من أن يكون في سلطانه ما لا يريد
