The Messenger of God said: “The place of prostration [Masjid] writhes from the slime, as the skin writhes from the fire when it is contracted and gathered.” [Jami’-Al-Hadith, Volume 4, Page 488]

وروى السيد الرضي في كتاب المجازات النبوية (4) قال: “ قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) أن المسجد لينزوي من النخامة كما تنزوي الجلدة من النار إذا انقبضت واجتمعت

From Ibrahim, from Jafar, from his father, from his fathers (a.s.): Imam Ali (a.s.) said: “Saliva in the place of prostration [Masjid] is a transgression and the atonement for it is that one hides it.” [Jami’-Al-Hadith, Volume 4, Page 488]

ومنها – البصاق والتنخم لما رواه الشيخ عن غياث بن إبراهيم عن جعفر عن أبيه عن آبائه (عليهم السلام) (1): “ أن عليا (عليه السلام) قال البزاق في المسجد خطيئة وكفارته دفنه

And from him, from Muhammad bin Al-Hussein, Musa bin Yessar, from Ali bin Jafar Al-Askuni, from Ismail bin Muslim Al-Sha’iri, from Jafar, from his father (a.s.) who said: “Whoever treated the place of prostration [Masjid] with regard to his slime with respect, then on the Day of Resurrection he will meet God while he laughs. His book has long since been placed in his right hand.” [Bihar-Al-Anwar, Volume 81, Page 16]

وعنه ، عن محمد بن الحسين ، عن موسى بن يسار ، عن علي بن جعفر السكوني ، عن إسماعيل بن مسلم الشعيري ، عن جعفر ، عن أبيه ، عن آبائه ( عليهم السلام ) قال : من وقر بنخامته المسجد لقي الله يوم القيامة ضاحكاً ، قد أعطي كتابه بيمينه.

The Messenger of God said: “The place of prostration [Masjid] shall be writhing with the slime, as one writhes the skin from the fire when it is contracted and gathered” [Bihar-Al-Anwar, Volume 80, page 346].
