Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi writes:

“Muhammad Ibn Yahya reported from Ahmad Ibn Muhammad and Muhammad Ibn Husain, who reported from Muhammad Ibn Isma’il Ibn Bazi’, who reported from Mansur Ibn Yunus, who reported from Ishaq Ibn Ammar, that Abd-ul-Malik Ibn Amr said: “I asked Abu Abdillah (As-Sadiq): “What is the right of the companion of the menstruating woman?” whereupon he said: “Everything except the female sexual organ itself.”

“The first saying (hadith) is good (Hasan) or trustworthy (Muwaththaq) and it proves the permission of the enjoyment of everything except the female genital and all the scholars agreed that the enjoyment of it is allowed of what is above the navel and below the knee and they disagreed about what is between them except for the place of bleeding. So the majority took the position that enjoyment of it is also allowed and Sayyid Al-Murtada said in Sharh-ur-Risalah: “It is not allowed to have enjoyment of it except on what is above the apron and that includes the anal intercourse.” [Mir’at-ul-Uqul, Volume 20, Page 381]
