,,If he had attributed some words to Us, then We would have seized him by the right hand. Thereupon We would have cut him on the vein of the heart.” [Al-Haqqah 69:44-46]

ولو تقول علينا بعض الأقاويل لأخذنا منه باليمين ثم لقطعنا منه الوتين

Mu’awiyah Ibn Ammar reported, that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,When the Prophet (s.) said: ﴾Whose master I am, his master is Ali.﴿ Said (Umar) Al-Adawi: ﴾No, by God, He did not command him that and it is merely something he attributed to Him.﴿ Then God sent down: ﴾If He had attributed some words to Us.﴿ (69:44) Until His word: ﴾For the disbelievers.﴿ (69:50) By which He means Muhammad (s.): ﴾And verily he is the true certainty.﴿ (69:51) By which He means Ali (a.).” [Manaqib Al Abi Talib by Ibn Shahr Ashub, Volume 2, Page 238]

معاوية بن عمار عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام قال: لما قال النبي صلى الله عليه وآله من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه قال (عمر) العدوي ولا والله ما أمره بهذا وما هو إلا شيء يتقوله فأنزل الله تعالى ولو تقول علينا بعض الأقاويل إلى قوله على الكافرين يعني محمدا وانه لحق اليقين يعني به عليا

Zaid ibn Jahm reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,When the Messenger (s.) of God took the hand of Ali (a.), after which he announced his leadership, they both said: ﴾By God, is this from God? This is merely something with which he wanted to exalt the son of his uncle.﴿ Then God sent down to him: ﴾If he had attributed some words to Us, We would have seized him by the right hand. Hereupon We would have cut him in the vein of the heart. So none of you could have prevented it and it is certainly an admonition for the mindful and We know indeed that there are among you deniers﴿, (69:44-49) by which He means So-and-so (Abu Bakr) and So-and-so (Umar): ﴾And he is certainly a grief to the disbelievers﴿ (69:50) By which He means Ali (a.): ﴾And verily he is the true certainty.﴿ (69:51) By which He means Ali (a.): ﴾So praise the name of your exalted Lord.﴿” (69:52) [Tafsir-ul-Ayyashi, Volume 2, page 269, Hadith 64]

زيد بن الجهم عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام قال: لما أخذ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله بيد علي فاظهر ولايته قالا جميعا: والله من تلقاء الله ولا هذا الا شيء أراد أن يشرف به ابن عمه فأنزل الله عليه ولو تقول علينا بعض الأقاويل لاخذنا منه باليمين ثم لقطعنا منه الوتين فما منكم من أحد عنه حاجزين وإنه لتذكرة للمتقين وإنا لنعلم ان منكم مكذبين يعنى فلانا (أبا بكر) وفلانا (عمروإنه لحسرة على الكافرين يعنى عليا وإنه لحق اليقين يعنى عليا فسبح باسم ربك العظيم

Muhammad ibn Fudail reported about Imam Al-Kazim (a.): ,,I said: ﴾His word: ,,It is indeed the word of a noble messenger.”﴿ (69:40) He said: ﴾He means Gabriel (sent) from God about the leadership of Ali (a.).﴿” He said: ,,I said: ﴾It is not the word of a poet. Little is what you believe.﴿ (69:41) He said: ﴾They said: ,,Muhammad lies about his Lord and God did not command him that for Ali.” Then God revealed a Qur’an about that. Thus He said: ,,The leadership of Ali is a descent from the Lord of the worlds and had he attributed some words to Us, We would have seized him by the right hand. Thereupon We would have cut his vein of heart.” (69:44-46) Then He connected the word, whereupon He said: ,,The leadership of Ali is an admonition for the mindful ones of the worlds and We know indeed that there are deniers among you and Ali is certainly a grief for the disbelievers and his leadership is indeed the true certainty. So praise, O Muhammad, the name of your exalted Lord.” (69:48-52) He says: ,,Thank your exalted Lord, Who granted you this favor.”﴿” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, Volume 1, page 433, Hadith 91]

علي بن إبراهيم عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام في قوله فاما من أوتي كتابه بيمينه قال: كل أمة يحاسبها إمام زمانها ويعرف الأئمة أولياءهم وأعداءهم بسيماهم [ … ] وقوله ولو تقول علينا بعض الأقاويل يعني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله لاخذنا منه باليمين قال: انتقمنا منه بقوة ثم لقطعنا منه الوتين قال: عرق في الظهر يكون منه الولد قال: فما منكم من أحد عنه حاجزين يعنى لا يحجز عن الله أحد ولا يمنعه من رسول الله أحد قوله وإنه لحسرة على الكافرين وإنه لحق اليقين يعنى أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام فسبح باسم ربك العظيم
