People from the East do not have green-white-red flags, but black ones

Muhammad ibn Kathir reported that Abu Bakr Al-Hadrami said:,,I and Aban came in to Abu Abdillah (As-Sadiq) and that took place when the black flags appeared in Khurasan. So we said: ﴾What do you foresee?﴿ Then he said: ﴾Sit down in your houses. If you see hereupon that we have agreed upon someone, then rise up to us with the weapon.﴿” [Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 52, Page 138 – 139, Hadith 44]

Sa’id Ibnu l-Musayyib reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: ,,Black flags emerge from the east from the children of Abbas. Hereupon they remain as long as God wills. Hereupon small black flags come forth from the east, fighting someone from the children of Abu Sufyan and his companions and they make obedience to the Guided (Mahdi).” [Al-Malahim of Ibn Tawus, Volume 1, Page 120, Hadith 120]

Abu Khalid Al-Kabuli reported that Imam Al-Baqir (a.) said: ,,It is as if I see people, who have come forth in the East. They are requesting for the right, but they do not receive it. Hereupon they request for it, but they do not receive it. When they see that, they put their swords on their shoulders, whereupon they receive, what they asked for. But they do not accept it until they rise up and they do not hand it over, except to your Commander. Their slain are witnesses (Shahid). Behold, if I were to witness that, I would preserve myself for the Commander of this matter.” [Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 52, Page 243, Hadith 116]

Ahmad ibn Abdillah reported that Abdullah ibn Mas’ud said: ,,While we were staying with the Messenger of God (s.), youths from the children of Hashim approached unexpectedly. When the Messenger of God (s.) saw them, his eyes welled up with tears and his color changed. So they said: ﴾O Messenger of God, we always see in your face something to which we have aversion.﴿ Then he said: ﴾God preferred the Hereafter over the worldly for us, the people of the House and the people of my House will face trial, rejection and banishment after me until people from the East come and they have black flags. So they ask for the right, but they do not receive it. Then they fight and are helped, whereupon they receive what they asked for. But they do not accept it, until they hand it over to one of us, the people of the house, whereupon he fills them with justice as they were filled with transgression. Whoever of you experienced that, let him come to them even if he has to crawl over ice for it.﴿” [Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 51, page 82 – 83]

Ali ibn Abi Hamzah reported that Abu Basir said: ,,I asked Abu Ja’far (Al-Baqir) about someone, who fights for his property, whereupon he said: The Messenger of Allah (s. ) said: ,,Whoever is killed for his property, is on the level of a witness (Shahid).”﴿ So we said to him: ﴾Is it better if he fights?﴿ Then he said: ﴾If he does not fight, then there is no problem in that. As for me, if it were for me, I would refrain from it and not fight.﴿” [Wasa’il-ush-Shi’ah of Al-Amili, Volume 28, Page 383, Hadith 35017]

Abu Ubaidah reported that Abdullah ibn Mas’ud said: ,,The messenger of God (s.) came to us. Then he came out to us, while he was cheerful and you could see the joy on his face. So we asked him about nothing except that he instructed us and did not keep silent, except that he commenced with us, until youths from the children of Hashim passed by him, among whom were Hasan and Husain. When he saw them, he became trembling because of them and his eyes shed tears. Then they said to him: ﴾O Messenger of God, you came out to us while you were cheerful and we recognized the joy on your face. So we asked you about nothing except that you instructed us and we did not keep silent, except that you commenced with us until the young men passed by you, whereupon you became trembling because of them and your eyes shed tears.﴿ Thus the messenger of God (s.) said: ﴾God preferred the hereafter over this world for us, the people of the house and the people of my house will experience rejection and banishment in the localities after me, until there come out black flags from the east. So they ask for the right, but they do not receive it and fight, whereupon they are assisted. Thus they receive what they asked for. Whoever experiences it from you or your children, let him come to them, even if he has to crawl over ice to do so, because they are the flags of guidance. They hand them over to one of us, the people of the house. He fills the earth with justice and equity as it was filled with transgression and injustice.﴿” [Dala’il-ul-Imamah of At-Tabari, page 446, hadith 420]

Thawban ibn Bujdud reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: ,,If you see that the black flags have come from Khurasan, then come to them even if you have to crawl over ice to do so, for among them is the successor of God, the Guided (Mahdi).” [Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 51, Page 82]

Comment:

Some followers of Ahmad Al-Hasan claim that they are meant with the people from the east. For this purpose, they even made black flags for themselves. However, they are not the first to do so and will not be the last. Like other parties, they ignore the warnings against the illegitimate leaders [Here]
