Scholar on the Ruin of Religion by Usulite Principles

Muḥammad Amīn al-Istarābādī writes: „In general, the religion was ruined twice: Once when the Prophet (ṣ.) died [leading to the event of Saqīfah] and when the Uṣūlī principles were established, as well as the terminologies of the ʿĀmmah (Sunnis) recorded in the Uṣūlī books, and in the books of Dirāyat-ul-Ḥadīṯ [gradation of tradition] in our regulations and traditions.“ [Al-Fawāʾid al-Madaniyyah, Page 368-369]
