The illegitimacy of the enemies of God

Umm Salamah reported that the Prophet (s.) said to Ali (a.): “No one hates you except for three: an illegitimate born (Walad Zina), a hypocrite (Munafiq), and someone his mother conceived (Mahmul) while she was still in menstruation.” [Wasa’il-ush-Shi’ah by Al-Hurr Al-Amili, Volume 2 Page 318 – 319 Hadith 7]

وعن محمد بن الحسن، عن الصفار، عن أحمد بن الحسين بن سعيد، عن علي بن الحكم، عن المفضل بن صالح، عن جابر الجعفي، عن إبراهيم القرشي، قال: كنا عند أم سلمة فقالت سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله يقول لعلي عليه السلام: لا يبغضكم إلا ثلاثة ولد زنا، ومنافق، ومن حملت به أمه وهي حائض

Abu Ayyub reported that the Messenger (s.) said to Ali (a.), “No one loves you except a believer and no one hates you except a hypocrite or an illegitimate born or someone his mother conceived while she was menstruating.” [Wasa’il-ush-Shi’ah by Al-Hurr Al-Amili, Volume 2, page 319 Hadith 8]

وعن المظفر بن نفيس، عن إبراهيم بن محمد، عن أحمد بن الهذيل، عن الفتح بن قرة، عن محمد بن خلف، عن يونس بن إبراهيم عن أبي لهيعة، عن أبي الزبير عن جابر، عن أبي أيوب، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله إنه قال: لعلي عليه السلام لا يحبك إلا مؤمن، ولا يبغضك إلا منافق، أو ولد زنية، أو حملته أمه وهي طامث

Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.) reported that the Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: “He who did not love my lineage (Ahl-ul-Bait) is one of three: The hypocrite, the illegitimate born, and the one his mother conceived while she was not pure.” [Wasa’il-ush-Shi’ah of Al-Hurr Al-Amili, Volume 2 Page 319 Hadith 9]

عن الحسين بن أحمد بن إدريس، عن أبيه، عن محمد بن أحمد، عن أبي نصر البغدادي، عن محمد بن جعفر الأحمر، عن إسماعيل بن عباس، عن داود بن الحسن، عن أبي رافع، عن علي عليه السلام قال قال رسول صلى الله عليه وآله من لم يحب عترتي فهو لإحدى ثلاث: إما منافق وإما لزنية، وإما امرؤ حملت به أمه في غير طهر

Abdullah Ibn Sinan reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,The one who erects (nasib) enmity, is not the one who showed it against us, the people of the house, for you will not find a man who says: I hate Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. But the one who erects enmity (Nasib), is the one, who showed it to you, knowing that you are close to us and that you are one of our followers (Shi’ah).” Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi writes: ,,The tradition is authentic according to its chain (Mu’tabar).” [Ilal-ush-Shara’i of As-Saduq, volume 2 page 601 Hadith 60; Bihar-ul-Anwar of Al-Majlisi, volume 8 page 369]

حدثنا محمد بن الحسن رحمه الله قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى العطار عن محمد بن أحمد عن إبراهيم بن إسحاق عن عبد الله بن حماد عن عبد الله بن سنان عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال: ليس الناصب من نصب لنا أهل البيت لأنك لا تجد رجلا يقول: انا أبغض محمدا وآل محمد ولكن الناصب من نصب لكم وهو يعلم انكم تتولونا وانكم من شيعتنا وقال الشيخ المجلسي: بأسانيد معتبرة

Abu Hamzah reported that he spoke to Imam Al-Baqir (a.): ,,Some of our companions slander and accuse their opponents (Mukhalif).” He said: ,,It is more beautiful to leave them alone.” Then he said: ,,By God, o Abu Hamzah, except for our followers (Shi’ah), all men are the descendants of transgressors.” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, Volume 8 Page 285 Hadith 431]

علي بن محمد، عن علي بن العباس، عن الحسن بن عبد الرحمن، عن عاصم بن حميد، عن أبي حمزة، عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام قال: قلت له: إن بعض أصحابنا يفترون ويقذفون من خالفهم؟ فقال لي: الكف عنهم أجمل، ثم قال: والله يا أبا حمزة إن الناس كلهم أولاد بغايا ما خلا شيعتنا

Ahmad Ibn Nazar reported that Amr Ibn Nu’man Al-Ju’fi said: ,,Ja’far As-Sadiq (a.) had a friend, who accompanied him to every place and while he was walking with him, he had a servant with him who followed them. Later, the man looked around for the servant three times, but he did not see him. When he looked for the fourth time, he saw him and said: ,,O son of a fornicator! Where have you been?” Then Ja’far As-Sadiq (a.) raised his hand and hit his forehead with it. Then he said: ,,Praise be to God, you accuse his mother? I foresaw piety in you, but you have no piety.” He said: ,,May I be sacrificed to you, but his mother is a Mushrikah (associator).” Then he said: ,,Do you not know that all people have a union (Nikah)? Stay away from me!” After that I never saw them together again until death separated one from the other.” In another tradition it says: ,,All the people have a union (Nikah), by which they keep themselves away from fornication (Zina).” [Al-Kafi of Al-Kulaini, Volume 2 Page 324 Hadith 5]

أبو علي الأشعري، عن محمد بن سالم، عن أحمد بن النظر، عن عمرو بن نعمان الجعفي قال: كان لأبي عبد الله عليه السلام صديق لا يكاد يفارقه إذا ذهب مكانا، فبينما هو يمشي معه في الحذائين ومعه غلام له سندي يمشي خلفهما إذا التفت الرجل يريد غلامه ثلاث مرات فلم يره فلما نظر في الرابعة قال: يا ابن الفاعلة أين كنت؟ قال: فرفع أبو عبد الله عليه السلام يده فصك بها جبهة نفسه، ثم قال: سبحان الله تقذف أمه قد كنت أرى أن لك ورعا فإذا ليس لك ورع، فقال: جعلت فداك إن أمه سندية مشركة، فقال: أما علمت أن لكل أمة نكاحا، تنح عني، قال: فما رأيته يمشي معه حتى فرق الموت بينهما. وفي رواية أخرى: إن لكل أمة نكاحا يحتجزون به من الزنا
