What does “Amin” mean?

Husain Ibn Qarin reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: “With your statement: “Amin” It is meant: “O lord, do this!” In another tradition it is reported: “Amin is one of the names of God.” [Ma’ani l-Akhbar from As-Saduq, page 349]
