“I just wanted this narration to be in this book and i do not believe that the devil was one of the angels but he was one of the hidden ones (Jinn) except that he used to serve God among the angels and Harut and Marut were two angels and i am not saying what the Hashawites say about them but i believe that they are infallible and with this verse “They followed what Satan said about the rule of Solomon” (2: 102) merely means: “They followed what Satan propounded about the rule of Solomon and what was sent down to the angels Harut and Marut in Babylon. ” And i have published a complete account of this in the book Uyun Akhbari r-Rida (a.).” [Ilal-ush-Shara’i’, page 33]
