What is Yasir Al-Habib’s judgement on the Shiites who believe that the Qur’an has been changed?

Yasir Al-Habib is being asked:

“Our dear Master, what is the opinion of our scholars about the one who believes in the falsification of the Qur’an or in its incompleteness? With the knowledge that the Qur’an explicitly says that God has taken care of its protection? Is he an disbeliever? For he accuses that which is explicitly stated in the Qur’an of being a lie?”

To this he answers:

“If the one who advocates the falsification believes it on the basis of a fallacy, then it is not permitted to declare him an disbeliever. But if his purpose is to accuse the Qur’an of lying, about which its revelation is believed in, then yes, and no one intends at that, because those who believe in the falsification do not believe in it because they accuse it of lying, but only because of a fallacy, for example by interpreting the verse about the protection of the Qur’an in such a way that the protection of the messengers of God (s) is meant, for the noble verse literally says: “We sent down the reminder, and We are certainly their guardians.” (15:19) For example, they say that the reminder here refers to the messenger of God, referring to other verses that are His statement: “God sent you down an reminder as a messenger who reads out the signs of God to you.” (65:10-11) This one, then, whose advocacy of falsification stems from a fallacy such as this, must not be declared an disbeliever, and one should only enter into dialogue with him and convert him.” [Source: Al-Qatrah]

The office of Yasir Al-Habib is being asked:

“Are the questions here answered according to the views of Shaikh Yasir Al-Habib?”

This is what is answered:

نعم

“Yes”

The office of Yasir Al-Habib is being asked:

“Some Shiite youths believe, that in the present codex (Mushaf) which is in our hands there is an incompleteness, addition and change, and that the Qur’an, which God guards, is with the Imam (a.) of our time. Apart from the invalidity of their statement: Is it permissible for an imitating lay person to declare them to be disbelievers and to be considered impure disbelievers and non-Muslims or not?

To this is answered:

“It is not allowed.” [Source: Fadak office / 24.10.2020]
