My scholar is not mistaken, everything he says, the Prophet has said?

Hasan Ibn Ali reported that Jesus Christ (a.) said: ,,Woe to you, servants of evil. How do you hope that God will save you from the terror on the Day of Resurrection when you fear the people in obedience to God and obey them in disobedience to Him and keep oaths for them which invalidate the oath to Him? Verily I say to you, God does not save him from terror on that Day who took the servants for lords instead of Him.” [Tuhaf-ul-Uqul of Al-Harrani, page 505]

الحسن بن علي بن شعبة عن السيد المسيح عليه السلام قال: ويلكم يا عبيد السوء كيف ترجون أن يؤمنكم الله من فزع يوم القيامة وأنتم تخافون الناس في طاعة الله وتطيعونهم في معصيته وتفون لهم بالعهود الناقضة لعهده بحق أقول لكم لا يؤمن الله من فزع ذلك اليوم من اتخذ العباد أربابا من دونه

Ali Ibn Muhammad reported, that Imam Ali (a.) said: ,,Take the wisdom from those, who presented it to you and look at what he has said and do not look at the one, who has said it.” [Uyun-ul-Hikam of Al-Wasiti, page 241]

علي بن محمد الليثي عن علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام قال: خذ الحكمة ممن أتاك بها وانظر إلى ما قال ولا تنظر إلى من قال

Ja’far As-Sadiq (a.) reported, that Imam Al-Baqir (a.) said: ,,Beware of the ignorant from the worshippers and the transgressors from the scholars, for they are the temptation of every fascinated one.” [Qurb-ul-Isnad of Al-Himyari, page 70, Hadith 226]

وعنه عن مسعدة بن صدقة عن جعفر عن أبيه محمد بن علي عليه السلام قال: إياكم والجهال من المتعبدين والفجار من العلماء فإنهم فتنة كل مفتون

Muhammad ibn Muslim reported, that Imam Al-Baqir (a.) said: ,,Ali, the Commander of the Faithful (a.), delivered a sermon to the people. Thus he said: ﴾You people, the beginning of the entrance towards the temptations are merely inclinations that you follow and the judgments, that you invent. The scripture of God is being opposed in it. The people imitate the people in it. If the wrong was not mixed, then it would not be hidden from any intelligent person and if the right was not mixed, then there would be no difference. Rather one takes a clump of this and a clump of that. Then both are mixed. Then the two come together. Then Satan takes control of his near ones and saved are those, who are preceded by the better outcome from God.﴿” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlsi, Volume 2, page 315 – 316, Hadith 83]

أحمد بن محمد بن خالد عن ابن فضال، عن عاصم بن حميد، عن محمد بن مسلم، عن محمد بن علي الباقر عليه السلام قال: خطب علي أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام الناس فقال: أيها الناس إنما بدء وقوع الفتن أهواء تتبع، وأحكام تبتدع، يخالف فيها كتاب الله، يقلد فيها رجال رجالا، ولو أن الباطل خلص لم يخف على ذي حجى، ولو أن الحق خلص لم يكن اختلاف، ولكن يؤخذ من هذا ضغث ومن هذا ضغث فيمزجان فيجيئان معا فهنالك استحوذ الشيطان على أوليائه، ونجا الذين سبقت لهم من الله الحسنى

Abu Basir reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said about the verse ,,They took for themselves (false) Gods besides (the true) God, so that they may be an honour for them. By no means. They will disbelieve in their worship and will be their opponents on the Day of Resurrection.” (19:81-82): ,,That means that those, whom they took as (false) gods besides God, will be their opponents on the Day of Resurrection and will distance themselves from them and their worship, on the Day of Resurrection.” Then he said: ,,The worship (ibadah) is neither the prostration nor the bowing down. It is only the obedience to the people and whoever obeyed a creature in disobedience to the Creator, he has worshipped him.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 69, Page 94, Hadith 6]

علي بن إبراهيم عن جعفر بن أحمد، عن عبيد الله بن موسى، عن ابن البطائني، عن أبيه، عن أبي بصير عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام في قوله: واتخذوا من دون الله آلهة ليكونوا لهم عزا كلا سيكفرون بعبادتهم ويكونون عليهم ضدا يوم القيامة أي يكون هؤلاء الذين اتخذوهم آلهة من دون الله عليهم ضدا يوم القيامة ويتبرؤون منهم ومن عبادتهم إلى يوم القيامة، ثم قال: ليس العبادة هي السجود ولا الركوع إنما هي طاعة الرجال، ومن أطاع المخلوق في معصية الخالق فقد عبده

Muhammad ibn Ya’qub reported that Ishaq ibn Ya’qub said: ,,I asked Muhammad ibn Uthman Al-Amri, may God be pleased with him, to convey a letter from me, in which I ask about the matters, which are unclear to me. Upon this, the letter signed by the Commander of Time (a.) was received: ,,As for the occurring events, return therein to the narrators of our saying, for they are my evidence to you and I am the evidence of God.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 2, page 90, Hadith 13]

أحمد بن علي عن محمد بن يعقوب عن إسحاق بن يعقوب قال: سألت محمد بن عثمان العمري رحمه الله أن يوصل لي كتابا سألت فيه عن مسائل أشكلت علي فورد التوقيع بخط مولانا صاحب الزمان عجل الله تعالى فرجه: وأما الحوادث الواقعة فارجعوا فيها إلى رواة حديثنا فإنهم حجتي عليكم وأنا حجة الله

Umar ibn Atiyyah reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,O brother of the people of the Levant, hear our saying and do not lie about us, for whoever lied about us in anything has lied about the Messenger of God (s.) and whoever lied about the Messenger of God (s.) has lied about God.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 12, page 248 – 249, Hadith 16222]

عدة من أصحابنا عن أحمد بن محمد، عن محمد بن سنان، عن عمر بن عطية عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام قال: يا أخا أهل الشام اسمع حديثنا ولا تكذب علينا فإنه من كذب علينا في شيء فقد كذب على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله ومن كذب على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فقد كذب على الله ومن كذب على الله عذبه الله عز وجل

Several reported Ja’far Ibn Sama’ah that Zurarah Ibn A’yan said: “I asked Abu Ja’far Al-Baqir (a.): ,,What is the privilege of God towards the servants?” He said: ,,That they say, what they know and abstain, when they do not know.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Vol. 2, page 113, Hadith 2]

محمد بن علي عن ابن مسرور، عن ابن عامر، عن معلى، عن ابن أسباط، عن جعفر بن سماعة، عن غير واحد، عن زرارة بن أعين قال: سألت أبا جعفر الباقر عليه السلام: ما حق الله على العباد قال: أن يقولوا ما يعلمون ويقفوا عندما لا يعلمون

Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.) reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: ,,Beware of the assumption, for the assumption is the most deceitful lie.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 27, Page 59, Hadith 33192]

هارون بن مسلم، عن مسعدة بن صدقة عن جعفر بن محمد عن محمد بن علي عن علي بن الحسين عن الحسين بن علي عن علي بن أبي طالب عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: إياكم والظن فإن الظن أكذب الكذب

Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.) reported that Prophet Muhammad (s.) said: ,,Whoever has lied about us, the people of the House, on the Day of Resurrection God will gather him as a blinded Jew and when he meets the deceiver (Dajjal), he believes in him in his grave.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 2, page 160, Hadith 7]

محمد بن عمر عن جبرئيل بن أحمد عن محمد بن عيسى، عن محمد بن الفضيل، عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن، عن الهيثم بن واقد، عن ميمون بن عبد الله، عن جعفر بن محمد عن محمد بن علي عن علي بن الحسين عن الحسين بن علي عن علي بن أبي طالب عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: من كذب علينا أهل البيت حشره الله يوم القيامة أعمى يهوديا وإن أدرك الدجال آمن به في قبره

Hashim Sahib-ul-Barid reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,Behold, it is bad for you to say something that you did not hear from us.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 27, Page 70, Hadith 33227]

عن علي بن إبراهيم، عن إبراهيم بن هاشم عن ابن أبي عمير، عن عبد الرحمن ابن الحجاج، عن هاشم صاحب البريد عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام قال: أما انه شر عليكم أن تقولوا بشيء ما لم تسمعوه منا

Fudail reported that Imam Al-Baqir (a.) said: ,,O Fudail, our saying revives the hearts.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 2, Page 144, Hadith 5]

محمد بن علي عن ابن الوليد، عن الصفار، عن ابن يزيد، عن ابن أبي عمير، عن خطاب بن مسلمة، عن الفضيل عن محمد بن علي الباقر عليه السلام قال: يا فضيل إن حديثنا يحيي القلوب

Umayyah ibn Ali reported that Muslim ibn Abi Hayyah said: ,,I was in the service of Abu Abdillah (As-Sadiq), whereupon I desired to leave him, bade him the farewell and said: ,,I desire for myself, that you would equip me”. Then he said: ,,Come to Aban Ibn Taghlib, for he has heard many sayings from me. Now what he has narrated to you, narrate from me.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 27, Page 147, Hadith 33445]

صالح بن السندي، عن أمية بن علي، عن مسلم ابن أبي حية قال: كنت عند أبي عبد الله عليه السلام في خدمته فلما أردت أن أفارقه ودعته وقلت: أحب أن تزودني، فقال: ائت أبان بن تغلب فإنه قد سمع مني حديثا كثيرا فما رواه لك فاروه عني

Sufyan ibn Khalid reported that Imam As-Sadiq (a.) said: ,,Beware of the leadership, for none sought it except that he threw himself to destruction.” So I said: ,,Then we have thrown ourselves into destruction, since there is none of us, except that he likes to be remembered, to be sought and to be taken from.” Then he said: ,,It is not what you are thinking of. It is only, that you give such a position to someone, besides the Proof (a.), that you believe in everything, he has said and call the people towards his word.” [Al-Wasa’il of Al-Amili, Volume 27, Page 129, Hadith 33396]

محمد بن علي عن علي بن الحسين عن سعد بن عبد الله، عن محمد بن الحسين، عن محمد بن خالد، عن سفيان بن خالد عن جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام قال: إياك والرياسة فما طلبها أحد إلا هلك، فقلت: قد هلكنا إذا ليس أحد منا إلا وهو يحب أن يذكر ويقصد ويؤخذ عنه، فقال: ليس حيث تذهب، إنما ذلك أن تنصب رجلا دون الحجة فتصدقه في كل ما قال وتدعو الناس إلى قوله

Muhammad ibn Ka’b reported that Prophet Muhammad (s) said: ,,I fear only three characteristics for my nation after me: That they will not give the Qur’an its correct interpretation, or that they will follow the mistake of a scholar, or that wealth arises between them, until they transgress and become arrogant and I will inform you of the way out of this. As for the Qur’an, follow its unambiguity and believe in its ambiguity; as for the scholar, expect his repentance and do not follow his mistake; and as for wealth, so the way out of it is to be grateful for the bounty and to fulfill its privilege.” [Al-Bihar of Al-Majlisi, Volume 2, Page 42, Hadith 8]

محمد بن علي عن علي بن عبد الله الأسواري، عن أحمد بن محمد بن قيس، عن أبي يعقوب، عن علي بن خشرم، عن عيسى، عن أبي عبيدة، عن محمد بن كعب قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله: إنما الخوف على أمتي من بعدي ثلاث خصال: أن يتأولوا القرآن على غير تأويله، أو يتبعوا زلة العالم، أو يظهر فيهم المال حتى يطغوا ويبطروا، وسأنبئكم المخرج من ذلك: أما القرآن فاعملوا بمحكمه وآمنوا بمتشابهه، وأما العالم فانتظروا فيئه ولا تتبعوا زلته، وأما المال فإن المخرج منه شكر النعمة وأداء حقه

Kamil Sulaiman reported that Prophet Muhammad (s) said: ,,Terror will arise in my nation. Then the people will go to their scholars. So behold, suddenly will be turned into monkeys and pigs. They have been punished in the same way, as those who distorted the right in its position and falsified the word in its places. God transformed their appearances and disfigured their being, just as they exchanged the right for the wrong.” [Yawm-ul-Khalas of Al-Jaburi, page 473, Hadith 4.]

كامل سليمان عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله قال: يكون في أمتي فزعة فتصير الناس إلى علمائهم فإذا هم قردة وخنازير قد عوقبوا بنظير ما فعلوا من تغيير الحق عن جهته وتحريف الكلام عن مواضعه مسخ الله صورهم وغير خلقتهم كما بدلوا الحق باطلا
