Was Jesus the last prophet?

No, because Jesus (a.) himself says there:

“You should not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill! For truly I say to you: Until the heavens and the earth have passed away, not one letter nor one line of the Law will pass away, until all things have been accomplished.” [Matthew 5:17-18]

لا تظنوا أني جئت لألغي الشريعة أو الأنبياء. ما جئت لألغي, بل لأكمل فالحق أقول لكم: إلى أن تزول الأرض والسماء, لن يزول حرف واحد أو نقطة واحدة من الشريعة, حتى يتم كل شيء

About the time after his ascension it is said:

“Now in those days there came down prophets from Jerusalem to Antioch. And one of them, named Agabus, stood up and by the Spirit foretold a great famine to come upon the whole world; which also came to pass under Claudius the emperor.” [Acts 11:27-28]

وفي تلك الأيام جاء إلى أنطاكية بعض الأنبياء من أورشليم وبينهم نبي اسمه أغابوس, تنبأ بوحي من الروح أن مجاعة عظيمة ستحدث في البلاد كلها. وقد وقعت هذه المجاعة فعلا في عهد القيصر كلوديوس

“And in Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers in the community, namely, Barnabas and Simeon, called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manahen, who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.” [Acts 13:1]

وكان في الكنيسة التي في أنطاكية بعض الأنبياء والمعلمين; ومنهم برنابا وسمعان الذي يدعى الأسود ولوكيوس من القيروان ومناين الذي تربى في طفولته مع هيرودوس حاكم الربع وشاول

“And Judas and Silas, who were themselves also prophets, admonished the brethren with many words, and strengthened them.” [Acts 15:32]

وكان يهوذا وسيلا نبيين أيضا, فوعظا الإخوة كثيرا, وشددا عزيمتهم

“Now while we were staying there for several days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.” [Acts 21:10]

فبقينا عنده عدة أيام. وبينما نحن هناك جاءنا من منطقة اليهودية نبي اسمه أغابوس

“And God has appointed some in the congregation, first as apostles, secondly as prophets, thirdly as teachers; then miraculous powers, then gifts of grace of healings, of helping, of leadership, different languages.” [1 Corinthians 12:28]

وقد رتب الله في الكنيسة أشخاصا مخصوصين: أولا الرسل, ثانيا الأنبياء, ثالثا المعلمين, وبعد ذلك أصحاب المواهب المعجزية أو مواهب الشفاء أو إعانة الآخرين أو تدبير الشؤون أو التكلم باللغات المختلفة

“And He made some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, some to be pastors and teachers.” [Ephesians 4:11-12]

وهو قد وهب البعض أن يكونوا رسلا والبعض أنبياء والبعض مبشرين والبعض رعاة ومعلمين
